Currently, this school is running two major arts, i.e., Dance and Visual Arts. As performing art, various forms of semi classical dance such as Bharatnatyam, Kathak, folk and Udaya Shankar style of dance are taught here. Moreover, as a customized form, creative dances and Bollywood style dances are encouraged and taught. On the other hand, learners with thirst of visual art are being trained with step-by-step landscape, portrait, sketch and still life drawing form. Based on the age, performance, and need of the student, classes are assigned to them.

Principal

: Moumita Chattopadhyay is a qualified artist with an experience of 11 years of dance in Udaya Shankar cultural Centre, she has taken 2 years of coaching of Kathak from famous Bollywood choreographer Birju maharaj’s student Debesh Mirchandani. She had completed her 6th year of drawing from Prachin Kala Kendram, Chandigarh. Academically, she has completed her graduation and masters in Mathematics from University of Calcutta.
